You want to know a secret? I sometimes dream with being in the Honors college, I've always had the mentality that I should excel above and beyond my peers, but in college sometimes I feel I need to do the bear minimum to survive all the course-load. I am saddened, I will admit, when I see honor students talk about barrett, and their honors contacts...the way students look at them, and not to say the respect from professors and others when they hear, I am in Barrett. Even their meals are better. I want that. One day maybe one day...

Oh and on the way I wouldn't mind putting a couple of snobs in their place. Low-income minority females can also excel, we just need the time and will to do so. These last two are a work in progress.

Went on a Stroll today, decided to have my own photo of the Famous SunDevil Landmark.

Not all days give the freedom of enjoying my surroundings, I guess today just worked out well.

What to tell, in the midst of so many people rushing to class, one is lucky to see a familiar face in the same day! I Love ASU, classes are difficult, but I can't think of a better place under the sun surrounded by cacti, to engulf in the adventure of college. Upgrading my way of being, on a daily basis, etiquette dinners, Intense professors, High Vocab, and Portuguese to season it all!

For all the people out there reading this: ASU is more than what you've heard. Think of the best comments shared, and multiply that by 100. ASU is innovation in practice. We are great, not because of our numbers but because in our numbers, that one student has access to thousands of professors, colleagues, and resources. All because were ASU, ask your dream school if it has that, a promising and equal potential for all its students? 

Well Im Glad to say Im a Sun Devil. Rock on the Heat Arizona, because your scholars are on fire.

In all honesty, ASU was far from my mind. After hearing all the negative comments, I was never going to attend a place where I was just a number. 

But times change, and I changed.  

Call it family, choir, phoenix, whatever puzzle piece fits, this is my place. I was born here and I am here. I will be what I choose to be where ever I am. 

   

Or like Teddy Roosevelt said:                                                         

"Do what you can with what you have where you are." 

     ...boy I'll make sure I see the best of ASU.

How I see time -Slavador Dali

I need a bike, a girl one at that. It wont be easy to get from one hemisphere of ASU to the other in less than 15 minutes. So little Mrs. long Skirts is riding her bike all over campus.

I called this one business man the other day to buy his laser printer but guess what? the cartage cost 5x more the printer itself. I guess it wont be that simple to survive my luxurious desires:  A color Laser Printer!
